Manusmriti In Tamil Pdf Free Download The Manusmrti is the most important scripture in Hinduism. It is also known as the law of Manu. Manusmriti contains an encyclopedic compendium of Hindu laws that are followed in various sects of Hinduism, but it includes other topics on dharma, society and politics. If any legal dispute arises between two people - whether they are Hindus or non-Hindus - the law set out by it will be followed to decide who is right and who is wrong. As this book has been used by all religious communities over several centuries, many scholars consider it to be one among the world's oldest surviving text books. Utharvaja Thirumunivai This is a Tamil Manusmriti. The author of this book is V. U. Sundaram Iyer, a Tamil Scholar who was the secretary of the Indian National Congress in Tiruchirapalli district during 1922-27. He wrote this book in 1926 and it was published in 1929 by "Kurian Raghavachariar" a Tamil Literary outfit based at Madras. This book has been translated to English by P.M. Srinivasan and published by the "Kurian Raghavachariar" as "A Code of Laws for India" in 1931, with V. U. Sundaram Iyer's name being mentioned on the title page. This book is one of the two Tamil Manusmriti books that are available in English translation - the other being "Manu Smrtrti Vol 1" translated by P.M. Srinivasan Despite having been translated into English since 1931, only a few copies of this book have been printed so it is still rare to find a copy at present.
